I was pleasantly surprised (and ecstatic) to find our home in even better shape than when we left! I have some very faithful employees and one in particular did a ton of gardening and improving the yard and out buildings. Although a bit dirty, the dogs were fat and sassy and so glad to see us home! It's a good thing that we came home when we did as Bridger had some mango worm issues that needed dealt with and he will only let me treat him for anything. Funny dog, that Bridger!
Check out all that grass!
Billy was glad to see the Polly Pockets out again!
We had one cat when we got back home, out of two. As you can see, everybody loves Billy! Ranger is like a different dog than last March when he was so sick. He's really porked up (as have I ;)!
One of the first things we did upon getting home was setting up the trampoline!
A Billy Pillow. He's very squishy!
We brought back dog beds from the States and filled them with wood chips. I thought I was doing my dogs a huge favor. The girl dogs refuse to touch them and Bridger will only on occasion! Billy and Ranger seem to like them though, so that's good! The kids with their old aunt P, in front of the land that she's buying
Our first Pack Walk since coming home! What a GREAT place for Pack Walks we live now! No traffic! My scruffy Pack. These dogs are amazing and a huge reason why our house wasn't robbed during our absence! I'll probably never fully realize the amount of security and protection they provide to my family. They serve as more than just pets!
Yep, Hooked on Phonics came with us but since we have no power, this is how we do our reading at night!
We got home last Wednesday night and I started back to work again on Monday. Needless to say, our house is still not all unpacked! We didn't unpack all of our things before we moved in April so there is still a lot of work to be done but it is very fullfilling because this is our OWN house! We will get some screens in and finish some things outside hopefully in the next month or so. It is good to be home!
